Master Roberson Douge

Master Roberson Douge is the most advanced and senior student of late Grandmaster Julian Keith Duran who trained him for over 15 years in the Chinese Tiger Claw Kung Fu.

Master Douge began his martial arts training at the age of 10 years old and now has over 33 years of experience. He practiced a variety of martial arts styles such as Japanese Shotokan and Karate, Taekwondo ITF, as well as Judo. A few months after he moved to Florida, he met Grandmaster Julian K. Duran who became his Kung Fu Master and began his training venture with him at the age of 18 years old.

Under the direction of Grandmaster Duran, he rapidly begun to excel in his training and participated in various Martial Arts Championships from 1999 to 2001 where he was awarded first place in many form demonstrations and the championship titles in full contact combats. In addition, Master Douge had participated in several seminars with different martial arts masters.

In 2001, Master Roberson became an instructor at his grandmaster’s school in Boca Raton Florida.

Later in June 2006, Grandmaster J. Duran gave his blessing to Roberson where he officially made him a Master; however he chose to remain under his Grandmaster’s wings and continued his training with him.

Few years later, Master Roberson began to offer private lessons for a few months until him and his family moved to Palm Bay Florida where he opened his school and is now making a difference and changing the lives of many people through his martial arts system that he has created, adults and children alike.

This is how Master Douge explains his concept of Martial Arts: “Martial arts is self-expression. It affects my life by increasing my humility, self-confidence and wisdom. The art itself totally transformed my personality and plays a huge part in what I’ve become today: a better person. I remain with the belief that there’s more to come in my life with martial arts involved; for it is grand and profound. Through my dedication and devotion the best of me is to be expected”.
